As you might be able to tell from Zach Hall's hair or the title of this post, these pictures are not very current. Still, the glorious Flipster Retreat October 2009 deserves a belated blog entry. The retreat consisted mostly of us canoeing on the Hillsborough River while eating sandwiches and discussing which of us would be likely to survive an alligator attack. Some erratic paddling also allowed us to explore some submerged logs and mangroves up close and in detail. And with the great Florida ice-chill-freezing time of early January 2010 behind us, we might be able to have another Flipster Retreat in the near future, perhaps with even more pictures than just random parking lot shots. Tom's geographic/job fate is hanging in the balance up north, but he should know more soon.
It is true that there does not exist a picture of all of the Flipsters together....we steadfastly maintain anything less than a 42 megapixel camera is impossible of doing our social scene justice on film, and we will wait until a 42 megapixel camera is mass-produced and within our budget before we have a Flipster photo shoot.
I'm writing to warn the web-browsing community that these so-called 'Flipsters' are actually a front organization for a nefarious conglomerate intent on pushing chacos on American youth.
ReplyDeleteI know your agenda, Flipsters- and this oppression will not stand.

naysaying on the flipsters blog is not condoned. If any flopsters are behind such shenanigans we will proceed accordingly.... so beware.
ReplyDeleteAlthough a fun game you can play with this blog post (and really with any pictures featuring a Flipster) is to count how many Chacos you can spot
